Hazel after a Month!

Hazel was adopted a month ago. I know some of you may want updates! She is now house trained. She knocks on the door with her nose when she wants to go out! She comes when called, waits at the door, and loves belly rubs. The first pictures are of Hazel last week, and the last ones were taken today. I made her a quilted blanket for insider her crate.

She loves it, as you can see! She is so cute! She loves giving kisses! That is my son with her, and you can compare her size to his hand from the first post! She is growing every day! Thanks for reading!

Wizard of Oz pictures

Hi. I went to see the Wizard! I work with a great group of people who love theater! Holy Family School Players, in Nazareth, PA, is a group of students from the school, and parents and volunteers who produce great theater experiences for the children. This is my third year involved, and I love it! This year I made Dorothy's dresses, the 2 Glinda gowns (there were 2 casts so more children had parts, four shows, thanks to the Director!) and one Scarecrow, the gatekeeper, and the Wizard. Can't you tell they just sang and danced and acted their little hearts out? The children are in grades 2 to 8, had 68 cast members, and even a spinning house! The sets, lighting, props, sound tech, and so much more were great! It truly is a team effort, and we are already looking forward to next year's production. I will let you know as soon as I do, and I really want to do costumes again.

Here are some pics. I apologize for the quality. I need to get a better camera, but I do need to protect the privacy of the players, so a little blurry works for this. Enjoy! You will get a small idea of the fun I had creating these looks. Both Glinda dresses were made with a glitter organza. It doesn't show well in the pics, but it beautiful on stage. I will see if I can get copies from the cast photographer, and will update if that happens.
